...more about our 2024 tree inventory

Most of our trees for sale this year are from seedlings we first planted in 2017 and are now up to 8.5ft tall.  We also have a small supply of older trees, mostly Balsam Firs, that are up to 25ft tall.

For 2024, we have trees in each pricing category to select from.  The selection is spread among Norway Spruce, Balsam, Balsam hybrids (crossed with Frasier or Korean Firs), some beautiful Concolor Fir (citrus fragrance!), a few Korean Fir, and a nice selection of Scots (Scotch) Pines, which have really done well the past few years.  Scots Pines are the most common Christmas tree in the U.S., though aren't as well-known here in the Northeast.  They're valued for their beautiful longer dark green needles (though some trees will produce a gorgeous bluish-green color) and stiff branches well-suited for decorating with both light and heavy ornaments.  They have great needle retention and will remain fresh throughout the holiday season, perfuming the room with festive pine scent.  All these natural trees are readily recyclable after the Christmas season.

As in other years we've priced some nice trees in the economical 'white' and 'yellow' flagging tape categories - some are marked down simply because they are growing very close to a promising young tree that needs more room to grow.  Others have a less full look on one side that will be unoticeable if your tree is placed in a corner or against a wall.  Still others are the top of a very tall tree where the bottom 5 or 6 feet aren't full but the top 7+ feet are in good shape - so if you're inclined to hunt for these great bargains you'll find them scattered anywhere among the fields of marked trees!  REMEMBER TO CUT ONLY FLAGGED TREES - A SIGNIFICANT FEE WILL BE CHARGED FOR CUTTING ANY UNFLAGGED TREE.  This is necessary to preserve a growing inventory for future Christmas trees!
